“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing”- Helen Keller
When I first picked up a camera I had no idea that I would be changing the lives of the women that I photographed. What started out as a hobby quickly grew into a passion. 19 years later and I’m still at it.
Since opening my first studio in 2004, I have photographed thousands, yes thousands, of amazing women. Each one has her own fears, her own insecurities, and her own unique reason for choosing to do a boudoir session. I can tell you that every single woman that walked through my door felt stronger, more confident, and more beautiful after their session. This is why I love shooting boudoir.
If you're looking for an incredible gift for your significant other, this is for you. If you've been chasing toddlers in sweats and a ponytail for the last 3 years and just need to feel sexy for a change, this is for you. If you're newly single or married for 25 years, if you're a size 0 or 26, if you are 31 or 61, it doesn't matter! You can and should do this for yourself. Every woman deserves to feel bold, beautiful, and empowered.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I recently relocated from “Up North” and am so excited to be here in Charleston. Moving to South Carolina has been a dream for quite a long time, so it’s still a little surreal that I made the move.
I studied Fashion Design at Drexel and went to Cosmetology school before I became a completely self taught boudoir photographer and retoucher in 2004.
My husband is amazing- life gets crazy sometimes and he's along for the ride. We welcomed our first little babe, a girl named Logan True, in July 2018.
Animals are my jam. At home I have have 2 cats. I’m also trying to convince my husband to let me have some chickens, maybe a dog… and possibly a goat.
My uniform is Lululemon tights, a baseball cap or messy bun, and cute sneakers. Actual pants are the worst thing ever and complain whenever I have to wear them.
I am a total sports junkie and am OBSESSED with College Football. In case you are wondering I am an orange and purple girl. Go Tigers!
Crossfit… because working out with a heavy barbell makes me feel like a bad ass and I love to eat. A lot.
There is almost always a coffee in my hand. I only drink it black.
I am a firm believer in The Secret and that you can manifest anything your heart desires.
